The Borodino Battle (The picture by Hess) The hills, located before the Semenovskaya village was the place where during all the day of that great battle maybe the haviest fighting developed. Here on the Semenovskaya Hills General Petr Bagration was mortally wounded. And in the centre of the picture you can see wounded Bagration surrounded by his officers.
