The Kliastitsy Battle

This battle took place on July,31,1812 between the French Corps of Marshal Oudinot and Russian troops of Prince Wittgenstein. The Corps of Oudinot tried to fight its way to St.Petersburg and was stopped near the village Kliastitsy by the Russian Corps of Prince Wittgenstein. The Pavlovsky Grenadier regiment distinguished in this battle. On this diorama you can see the Swiss Infantry and French Light Infantry fighting with the grenadiers of the Pavlovsky regiment. All figures are made by the Archipelag company (the scale is 1:72) and painted by ourselves.
